How to: Change the resolution of your video in CaseGuard

Scenario

My video’s size is too large to send, how can I adjust the resolution of my video in CaseGuard so it does not take up as much space? In this article, we will cover how to easily change the resolution of any video inside CaseGuard Studio.

Follow these steps to change the resolution of your video!

  • First, open up the video you would like to change the resolution of inside CaseGuard.
  • Once your video is opened select Video Tools from the left toolbar then Resize.

  • The Resize window will open, from this window you can choose to Resize your video using Percentages or Pixes.
    • If you choose the percentage option you will want to enter the percentage you would like to decrease the resolution of your video.
    • If you choose the pixel option you will want to enter the new resolution you would like your video to be.
    • If it is not allowing you to enter the value you want to use this is due to this resolution changing the Aspect Ratio of your video. If you are ok with changing your Aspect Ratio, you will need to unselect the Preserve Aspect Ratio option.

  • Once you have chosen the new resolution for your video select Next then in the Summary window select Apply.
  • The Resize has been added to your video now, to fully apply the resize select Export at the top right of your CaseGuard to export your video with a new resolution!
