In CaseGuard Studio, you can rotate and flip your video footage using the Transform Tools.
Transform Tools
You can find the Transform tools in the Toolbar. Each of the Transform Tools allows you to make rotation/flipping enhancements across the entire video, or selections of the video.
Rotate Video: click to rotate video 90 degrees clockwise.
Rotate Video: click to rotate 90 degrees counter-clockwise.
Rotate Video: click to rotate 180 degrees clockwise.
Flip Video Horizontally (horizontal mirror): click to flip video horizontally.
Flip Video Vertically (vertical mirror): click to flip video vertically.
Rotating video
You can either rotate numerous sections from the media file from the Rotate Video panel or rotate the entire video. To learn how to do both tasks, follow the directions below.
Rotating part of a video
Select the type of rotation that you want from the Transform Tools in the Toolbar.
To rotate part of your media file, from the Tool Properties Panel you’ll need to enter a start and end time for when the rotation should take place. There are three different methods to do this:
Method one: Manual Typing
Manually type start and end times into the Start and End box.
Click on the Start box.
Type start time into the box.
Click on the End box.
Type end time into box.
Click Cut Selected Time
Method 2: Drag the Player Timeline
Drag the indicator on the Player Timeline to where you want to start rotating.
Click that is next to the “Start” field to Capture Start Time. Confirm that the Start box has updated to reflect the start time.
Drag the indicator on the Player Timeline to where you want to stop rotating.
Click that is next to the “End” field to Capture End Time. Confirm that the End box has updated to reflect the end time.
Click Rotate Selected Time.
Method 3: Press And Hold
Click on the Play button from the Player Controls to start playing your media file.
When you want to start rotating, immediately click on the Press & Hold with your mouse.
Keep pressing as long as you want to rotate then release when you want to stop rotating.
The Start and End boxes will update to reflect the start and end time for when to rotate.
Click Rotate Selected Time.
After you use one of the three methods above, finally ClickProcess from the Shortcuts Bar or from the Task List Panel to process the file.
Rotating an entire video
Select the type of rotation that you want from the Transform Tools in the Toolbar.
Click Rotate Whole under the Tool Properties Panel.
