After transcribing audio, CaseGuard is able to mine data for insight. It’s able to detect named entities in the text such as people and locations, as well as patterns like emails, social security numbers, zip code, or credit card numbers.
You can filter by named entity patterns (i.e., social security numbers, credit card numbers, phone numbers, etc.) to quickly locate and remove confidential information.
Review and Identify the type of information that needs to be redacted (i.e., social security numbers, credit card numbers, phone numbers, etc.)
Getting started
Now that you’ve transcribed your file, your transcript should appear within the Transcription Panel. You have a few ways you can start redacting your audio.
Method 1: redacting using the Analytics Panel
The Analytics Panel is a powerful tool that allows you to work with the named entity patterns in your transcript data. It lets you do many things, including:
View the number of times a word appears in your transcript.
Filter by information type to view the number of times a type (i.e., Name, Date, Social Security Number, etc.) a named entity appears in your transcript.
Redact ALL of your filtered search results with one click.
