Transcription Region

Non-Government Clients: We recommend selecting the AWS region closest to your location for the best transcription performance and response times.

Government Clients: The transcription region is automatically set to US-West (AWS GovCloud) and cannot be changed.

Preferred transcription file format

  • Select the default file format used when exporting transcription files.

Replacing muted or bleeped transcriptions

  • Replace your muted or bleeped transcription with one of the following text indicators:
    • [Redacted]
    • [*******]
    • [Remove]

Notify me when the transcription balance is low

  • Choose how often you would like updates on your transcription balance.

Replace redacted transcription with its redaction reason

  • When enabled, redacted portions of a transcript are replaced with the reason assigned to the corresponding redaction instead of the default redaction indicator.

Audio redaction margins

  • Configure the amount of padding added before and after audio redactions. Audio redaction margins help ensure that sensitive audio is fully covered by extending the redaction slightly beyond the selected start and end points.
