Overview
Object Tracking in CaseGuard Studio lets you apply a redaction to a specific object and have it automatically tracked across frames. You can redact multiple objects, customize their shape, effect, and reason, and CaseGuard handles the tracking for you.
This feature is ideal when you need to redact specific objects or identifying features in a busy video, saving time and keeping full control over your redactions.
Follow these steps to redact objects using tracking!
- Add a Video to Your Project
Import the video file into CaseGuard Studio and load it into your project
- Select the Tracker
From the left toolbar, select Tracker.
- Add a Video to Your Project
In the Video Tools Panel, select the shape and effect for your redaction box.
By default, the ellipse shape and adaptive blur effect are selected.
- Select a Redaction Reason (Optional)
If required, choose one or more Redaction Reasons from the dropdown menu, or create a new one using the icon.
- Track the Object
Once the redaction is applied, CaseGuard will automatically track the object frame by frame as the video plays.
- Navigate Through the Video
You can review the tracking using the player controls.
>Use the left and right arrow keys to move frame by frame.
>Use the up and down arrow keys to move one second forward or backward.
- Adjust if Needed
Pause the video at any time to resize or reposition the redaction box if adjustments are necessary.
- Automatic Redaction Removal
If the tracked object disappears from the video, CaseGuard will automatically stop tracking.
- Export the Redacted Video
After all redactions are applied, click Export to process the file and save the redactions.
