Overview
The Cut Tool in CaseGuard Studio lets you remove unwanted segments, keeping only the parts of your video and audio files that you need.
Note: In CaseGuard version 9.7.0, the Drop Segment tool has been removed. In earlier versions, segment removal could be done using either the Drop Segment or Cut Tool. From version 9.7.0 onward, all segment removal is handled exclusively through the Cut Tool
How to Use the Cut Tool in CaseGuard Studio
Method One: Using the Audio Tools

Open the Audio Tools.

From the Effects dropdown, select Cut.

Choose the start and end points for the segments you want to remove.

Export the file the exported file will contain only the remaining (kept) audio, with the unwanted segments removed.

Method Two: Cutting Directly on the Audio Wave

Highlight the part of the audio wave you want to cut.

Make sure your cursor is within the highlighted section.

Select Cut (this will remove the highlighted segment)
- Export the file. The exported file will contain only the remaining (kept) audio, with the unwanted segments removed.
