How to: Manually Redact Images in an Album

Overview

The Manual Image Redaction feature in the Album is ideal for large or complex image redaction projects. It allows users to manually redact documents, PII, or intricate objects like tattoos, applying different shapes, effects, and redaction reasons, all within a single album. Once redactions are complete, the album can be exported as a slideshow in CaseGuard Studio or as individual files in the “Redacted Album” folder, making review and post-redaction processing quick and convenient.

Follow the Steps to Manually Redact Images in the Album!

  • Open or create your project in CaseGuard Studio.
  • Add your images to the project. (Note: Adding more than three images at once will automatically create an album.)
  • Click the Manual Image button on the left toolbar. Draw a redaction box over the object you want to redact.
  • Use the Left Arrow key on your keyboard or the player’s Next icon to move to the next image. Repeat the redaction process for each image as needed.
  • Once you have applied redaction to the entire Album, click  Export Icon  “Exportto process the file.
