Our agency requires us to use the filled effect for all of our video redactions. Is it possible to have it always selected so I do not have to change each time before I redact in CaseGuard?
In this guide, we will walk you through the steps to easily customize any of your CaseGuard defaults so that CaseGuard is tailored to your needs.
Follow these steps to customize your CaseGuard media defaults!
- Launch your CaseGuard application and locate the Tools option in the top menu bar. Click on it to reveal a drop-down menu with several configuration options.
- From the drop-down menu under Tools, click on Settings. This will open the Settings window, where you can access various customization options to make CaseGuard work more efficiently for your specific needs.
- Within the Settings window, focus your attention on the left-hand menu. Scroll through the available categories and select Media Defaults. This section contains all the default settings related to media handling within CaseGuard.
- After selecting Media Defaults, the corresponding settings window will appear. Here, you can view and customize all media-related default options, including enabling the filled effect as the default setting for video redactions. Take your time to review the available options to ensure they align with your agency’s requirements.
- Once you’ve configured your Media Default Settings to include the filled effect, simply close the Settings window to save your changes automatically. These adjustments will now be applied as the default settings whenever you use CaseGuard for video redactions.
