How to: Easily Configure Autosaving in CaseGuard

Imagine you’re in the middle of redacting a lengthy body camera video or a sensitive legal document in CaseGuard Studio. Suddenly, your system crashes or power is lost. Without auto-saving enabled, hours of work could be lost. By configuring auto-save settings, you can ensure your work is protected and updated at regular intervals — minimizing downtime and eliminating the need to redo redactions or edits.

In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to configure the Auto-Saving feature in CaseGuard Studio. Enabling and customizing this setting ensures that your work is saved at regular intervals, helping you avoid lost progress due to unexpected shutdowns or system errors.

Step 1: Launch CaseGuard Studio

Begin by opening CaseGuard Studio and logging in using your credentials.

Step 2: Close the Welcome Window

Once logged in, you can close out of the welcome window. There’s no need to open a specific project to configure the auto-saving feature.

Navigate to the top-left corner of the screen and click on “Tools”. From the dropdown menu, select “Settings”.
