When working with complex footage that contains multiple redactions, it can be difficult to keep track of every object appearing on screen at a given moment. CaseGuard Studio’s Boxes in Frame feature helps solve this by showing a live list of all redaction boxes currently visible in the active video frame. This allows you to quickly identify, review, and manage redactions without manually searching through the timeline.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Open the video file you want to edit in CaseGuard Studio.

  2. Click Tools in the top-left corner and select Settings.

  3. In the Settings window, click Video from the left-side categories.

  4. In the Miscellaneous section, enable Show Boxes in Frame.

  6. On the left side of the screen, in the Video Tools section, locate the Boxes in Frame subsection.

  7. The number next to “Boxes in Frame” indicates how many redaction boxes appear in the current frame.
