Overview
Sometimes you may only need the audio from a video, for example, to create a transcription or analyze a conversation. Rather than managing the video and audio separately, CaseGuard Studio allows you to extract the audio directly, streamlining your workflow and saving time. Follow this guide to learn how.
Steps to Extract Audio
-
Open CaseGuard Studio
Launch CaseGuard Studio and create a new project.
-
Locate Bulk Processing
On the top menu, open Bulk Processing. (Refer to the image below.)

-
Select Video
Choose Video, since we are extracting audio from a video file. Then select the video you want to work with.

-
Choose Extract Audio
In the new window, select the Extract Audio function. Click Apply, then add the file you want to process and click Apply again.

-
Process the Extraction
CaseGuard will run the extraction process. A progress bar will display the percentage completed.

-
Access the Extracted Audio
Once the process is complete, the extracted audio file will appear under Project Files on the right-hand panel. Both the audio and the original video will be available.

Conclusion:
Extracting audio in CaseGuard Studio efficiently isolates audio from video, letting you focus on the sound without the visual content. This is useful for tasks like audio redaction, transcription, or analysis in legal, media, or compliance work. The process is simple, preserves project quality, and allows you to quickly access the audio you need. For any questions or assistance, contact [email protected].
