After finishing your video redactions, it’s important to review your work for accuracy, especially if you’ve renamed any redacted objects. CaseGuard Studio makes this easier by allowing you to display object tags directly within the video, helping you quickly identify and verify each redaction.

In this guide, we’ll show you how to enable object titles so you can efficiently review your redactions with confidence.

Follow These Steps to Show Titles to Easily Identify Redacted Objects

  • Once your project is open, navigate to the Video Activity panel (see the image below).
    Note: Tags will only be visible in videos where redactions have been applied.
  • Once your project is open, navigate to the Video Activity panel (see the image below).
  • Locate the three dots (⋯) icon and click it to open a small menu. From there, you can choose the option to show or hide tags (see the image below).

  • In the Advanced Options window, you’ll see an option labeled “Show Titles.”
    • Check this box to enable the display of redacted object names directly on the video timeline.
    • This allows you to instantly recognize which redaction corresponds to which object, especially useful when multiple redactions are involved.
  • With Show Tags enabled, each redacted object’s tag will be clearly displayed in the video, making it easier to review your work accurately and efficiently
