Bulk Video Redaction in CaseGuard Studio

To begin, select “Bulk Redaction” from the “Get Started” window. From the operation drop-down menu, choose “Redact video/audio.” You can then select the video files you wish to redact in bulk. There is no limit to the number of files you can process—whether it’s two files or 2,000.

Selecting Files for Bulk Redaction

When choosing video files, try to select those that require the same objects to be removed. For example, if all files need heads and screens redacted, you can run both face detection and screen detection in one operation.

Configuring Redaction Settings

  1. Open Redaction Settings: Click on “Redaction Settings” to open the AI automatic detection window.
  2. Select Objects: Choose the objects you want CaseGuard to redact. For this example, select faces/heads and screens, then click next.
  3. Choose Shape and Effect: Select the shape and effect for faces/heads and apply a redaction reason if needed. Repeat for screens and click next.

Classify Results and Scheduling

  • Classify Checkbox: Uncheck the classify checkbox if you want to keep everyone redacted, as this will speed up detection. Keep it checked if you need to unredact specific faces or screens later.
  • Schedule Bulk Operation: You can schedule your bulk operation to run at a designated time, such as overnight, which is useful if you have many videos but limited computer resources.

Click apply once you’ve configured your settings.

Project Selection and Export Options

  • Select Project: Choose an existing project or create a new one for your redacted files.
  • Export After Detection: Check this box if you want CaseGuard to export the redacted files automatically. This is helpful if no further edits are needed.

Running Bulk Video Redaction

You are now ready to run your Bulk Video Redaction! Use the “Open Project” folder option next to your file in the CaseGuard Scheduler to access your bulk project.

Making Additional Edits

You can always make additional edits to your original video and export it again. The new video will be titled “file name”_redacted_1.That’s all for today! In the next video, we will cover Bulk AI audio redaction. See you soon!

Happy Redacting!
