Streamlining Project Management in CaseGuard Studio

Getting Started with CaseGuard Studio
- Initial Options:
- Upon opening CaseGuard Studio, you can:
- Create a new project.
- Open a recent project from the list on the right side of the Get Started window.
- Open an existing project using the folder icon.
- Begin a Bulk Redaction operation.
- Use the Screen Recorder.
- Upon opening CaseGuard Studio, you can:
- Training Resources:
- At the bottom of the Get Started window, find links to Training Course videos. Selecting one will open the video on YouTube via your web browser.
Creating and Managing Projects
- New Project Creation:
- Click the “New Project” button.
- Name your project and customize the storage folder location on your computer.
- Use the “More Information” drop-down menu to add details like Name of Requester, Case Number, and Date of Request. These details will appear in reports generated by CaseGuard.
- Adding Files:
- After creating a new project, add files for redaction or enhancement by selecting them and clicking “Open.”
- To add more files later, use the blue “Add Files” button in the center of the Project Files Panel or click the “Add Files” icon at the bottom of the panel next to the trash can icon.
- Removing Files:
- To remove a single incorrect file, select it in the Project Files Panel and click the trash can icon.
- To remove multiple incorrect files, use the Open Project Folder icon to access the folder containing your CaseGuard project. Remove files as needed, then close the folder and click the “Refresh” icon to update the Project Files Panel.
Opening Existing Projects
- Access Recent Projects:
- Use the File drop-down menu at the top left corner of your Workspace to open a recent project from a list of your last ten projects.
- Open Other Projects:
- For projects not listed as recent, select “Open Project.”
Comparing Files
- Compare Feature:
- The Project Files Panel includes a Compare feature for easy file comparison and review.
- Use “Select File To Compare” buttons to add files to the Compare window.
- Navigate through each video separately or use “Combine Control” to navigate them together.
