On June 28, 2018, the California State Legislature signed into effect the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) to make amendments to Part 4 of Division 3 of the California Civil Code. The CCPA is a statewide statute intended to increase residential privacy rights and reinforce consumer protection for California residents.
