Once selected, the Audio Redaction Panel will display various methods for redacting audio. Methods for Audio Redaction Timestamps: Enter the start and end timestamps of the audio segment you want to redact. Capture Start and End Time: Use the hand icons to select the beginning and end of the portion you want to redact by clicking the respective icons. Press & Hold: Use this large hand icon to press and hold for the duration of the information you want to redact. Redacting from the Audio Wave: Highlight the audio wave (toggle display using the Show/Hide audio bar) and right-click to select your audio redaction or effect. Redaction Options and Effects Mute: Silences your audio, appearing green on the audio wave. Bleep: Replaces sensitive data with a bleep sound, appearing orange on the audio wave. Change Voice: Disguises the speaker’s voice while preserving the content. Additional Features Redaction Reasons: Add a reason for each redaction if needed. These reasons will be available in an Exemption Log. To access, select “Print Reports” and choose “Exemption Log” from the “Reports” dropdown menu. Adjusting Redaction Range: You can readjust the range of audio being redacted by modifying the box outlining the redaction on the audio wave.
