Steps to Use Object Tracking:
- Add a Video File:
- Begin by adding a video file to your CaseGuard Studio project.
- Select Object Tracking:
- On the left-hand side of your Workspace, click the “Object Tracking” button.
- Configure Redaction Settings:
- At the bottom left of your Workspace, select the shape, effect, and redaction reason for your object.
- You can choose from over thirty redaction and enhancement effects available in CaseGuard Studio. For more details on enhancement effects, refer to our video, “How to Enhance Videos in 2 Easy Steps.”
- Draw the Redaction Box:
- With your shape and effect selected, draw a redaction box over the object you wish to redact.
- Ensure the box is appropriately sized around the object with enough distinctive features for accurate tracking. Avoid making it too large or too small.
- Adjust for Blurry Videos:
- In cases where the video is blurry, you may need to update the box frame by frame until the system can accurately track the object.
- Track Multiple Objects:
- You can use Object Tracking on multiple objects simultaneously. The system may slow down the video to maintain tracking accuracy.
- Handling Tracking Loss:
- If tracking loses the object, the video player will pause to indicate where the loss occurred.
- Move the redaction box to the object’s new location and resume tracking by hitting play.
- Exporting the Video:
- Upon export, your video will return to its original speed.
