Streamlining Image Redaction with AI Automatic Detection in Redaction Studio

AI Automatic Detection can redact over 400 images in less than 20 seconds, making it an ideal tool for handling large albums of images. Here’s how to use it effectively:

  1. Create an Album:
    • Select the “Album” icon at the top of your Workspace.
    • Click “Add Files” and choose the images you want to redact.
    • Click “Next,” input the name for your Album, and choose an export location.
    • Click “Create Album.”
  2. Begin Redacting:
    • Select the smiley face icon in the Tools Panel to open the AI Automatic Detection pop-up.
    • Choose what you want to detect.
  3. Configure Redaction Settings:
    • Click “Next” and select a shape for the redaction box.
    • Choose a redaction enhancement or effect to apply to detected objects.
    • Decide on a Standard, Reverse, or Full Frame Redaction, as shown in the Sample Preview box.
  4. Apply Redaction:
    • Optionally, apply a Redaction Reason to detected and redacted objects.
    • Click “Apply.”
  5. Review and Export:
    • Review the images in the Album to ensure all redactions are correctly placed.
    • Click “Export” to save the redacted images as an Album in CaseGuard.
  6. View Project Files:
    • Use the “Open Project Folder” icon to view your project files outside of CaseGuard, including original images and their redacted counterparts.
