CaseGuard Studio is a local, on-premise redaction software installed directly on your organization’s computers. All redaction work is performed locally, with no files processed or stored in the cloud. This setup ensures maximum privacy and control over your sensitive data.

Yes, you can use both your CaseGuard license and the CaseGuard Studio redaction software in an offline mode, even when there is no internet connection available.

To do this, you’ll need to assign the license to the specific computer you want to use. We issue one offline key per license, which is tied to that specific machine/user. Please note that once the offline key has been issued for a license, it can not be cancelled, transferred, or changed for the duration of the license. Changes to the keys can be made upon renewal. This setup is often used in air-gapped systems.

However, please note that certain features, such as transcription and translation, will not be available when using the software in offline mode. Regardless of whether you’re using the software online or offline, CaseGuard does not see, store, or transfer any of your files outside of your local machine or network.

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan whenever your needs change. You can also cancel your plan at any time—but keep in mind that you won’t be able to edit or export any unfinished projects after cancellation, so be sure to complete your work first.

For a full refund, cancellation requests must be made at least 30 days before your renewal date. If submitted later, a partial refund may be issued based on the remaining time.

Yes! CaseGuard offers a 7-day free trial so you can explore the platform and its features. Projects created during the trial will include a watermark, but you can upgrade to a paid plan at any time to unlock full functionality.

Additionally, CaseGuard does not automatically charge at the end of the trial. You’ll only be billed if you choose to purchase a subscription.

You’ll still have access to any files you’ve already redacted, enhanced, and exported—as long as they’ve been saved. However, once your subscription is canceled, you won’t be able to open, edit, or make changes to unfinished projects.
