Handling Microsoft Office Documents in CaseGuard Studio

CaseGuard Studio supports various Microsoft Office document types, including PowerPoints, Excel Sheets, and Word Documents. Here’s how these documents are processed and the options available:

1. Automatic Conversion:
   • Documents are automatically converted to PDF format.
   • This ensures that redactions are permanent upon export and that information behind redaction boxes is completely erased.
2. Excel Spreadsheet Conversion:
   • Options in the Document Settings allow you to customize the conversion process for Excel spreadsheets.
   • You can choose to use Excel itself to convert files to PDF format instead of CaseGuard Studio.
3. Scaling Options for Spreadsheets:
   • No scaling
   • Fit sheet on one page
   • Fit all columns on one page (default)
   • Fit all rows on one page
4. Additional Options:
   • Show hidden columns
   • Show hidden rows
