In addition to the basic redaction methods and audio effects, CaseGuard Studio offers advanced features like “Copy Effect” and “Bulk Update Audio Points” to streamline your workflow.
Advanced Features
- Copy Effect:
- This feature allows you to copy all audio effects and redactions from one video to other videos within your CaseGuard Studio project.
- How to Use:
- Right-click on the audio wave and select “Copy Effects To.”
- Choose from the available video files in your project.
- Apply the exact redaction points and effects to one or all videos.
- Use Case: Ideal for redacting videos of the same event captured from multiple sources, such as body-worn cameras, surveillance footage, and cell phone recordings.
- Bulk Update Audio Points:
- This feature enables you to replace all redaction reasons and effects with a single click.
- How to Use:
- Select the option to replace redaction reasons using the dropdown menu.
- Check “Print Reports” to verify that all redaction reasons have been updated according to your selection.
- Use Case: Useful when you need to standardize redaction reasons across multiple types of features.
